Health Equity

Communities and countries and ultimately the world are
only as strong as the health of their women.

- Michelle Obama

Health Equity focuses on
six health targets.
  1. Affordable Health Care
  2. Breast Cancer
  3. COVID-19
  4. Maternal Health
  5. Mental Health
  6. HIV/AIDS
  • NCNW IE  members believe that our bodies and minds are our greatest assets.
  • We strive to connect women of color with agencies that provide crucial health information and services.
  • Members also have the benefit of sessions that focus on best practices in personal healthcare. We offer both virtual and in-person events to inform and educate the community.
  • Diet, exercise, and access to quality healthcare are essential in moving towards health equity.
